The Life of Mr. Theodore LaShawn Powell “P-roni” (McRae, GA)

Mr. Theodore Powell was born on October 11, 1972 in Vidalia, GA to Linda Smith and Isaac
Cannida. Mr. Burns attended Telfair County school system. He later moved to Atlanta, GA where he
was residing before he passed. During his journey here on earth he was a fan of the San Francisco 49ers
football team and he also loved to rap. Also, to many of his family and friends he was known as “P-
roni”. Mr. Powell’s life will be missed, but the memories of him will be remembered forever.
Mr. Theodore Powell was preceded in death by his grandparents; Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Lee
Powell and Mr. and Mrs. Jake and Walnita Cannida.
Mr. Powell leaves to mourn his passing; his dear mother, Linda Powell (Jimmy Knight)
of Helena, GA; father, Isaac Cannida (Audrey Green) of Vidalia, GA; four sisters, Letasia Troupe
(Drysdale Troupe) of Helena, GA, Yomoka Zanders (Lyndell Zanders) of Helena, GA, Tammy Smith of
Dublin, GA, and Monica Smith of Flora, Illinois, two brothers; Anthony R. Powell of Helena, GA and
Antermirrow D. Smith of Helena, GA, three uncles, Clarence Powell of Charlotte, NC, Robert Powell of
Mt. Vernon, GA, Elisha Cannida (Cathy) of Vidalia, GA, two aunts; Marsha “Ann” Carter of Helena,
GA and Yvonne Rivers (Isaiah) of Alma, GA. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended
family & friends.
Powell family, on behalf of Dr. Demario J. Bell Sr., the Golden Gates entire staff, we
extend our deepest condolences, and we thank you for entrusting us with your loved one. May
