Official Notice of Transition For Mr. Steven Ferguson (Macon, GA) 

“When the time has come for me to away from the troubles of this world, it would never be goodbye, for I have left my heart with you, so don’t you cry much. The love that’s deep within me, shall reach you from the stars, you’ll feel it from the heavens, and it will heal the scars!”

Steven “Steve” Frank Ferguson, 61, Of Macon, Georgia passed away on August 30, 2023 in peace and at home. He was proceeded in death by his parents Andrew and Margaret Ferguson, and by his brothers William “Billy” Hasty and Andrew “Andy” Ferguson. He is survived by his siblings Warren Ferguson and twin “big sister” Ann Ferguson, his long term partner turned best friend Tracey Davis Eagle, and his children Paul Eagle(Katie), Kaleigh Cowart(Russ), and Jacob Ferguson(Samantha.) He had five grandchildren (Nicholas, Khloe, Giovanna, Trevor, and Aydalyne), an honorary “baby sister” Tonya, and a large extended family. He loved dearly his two adopted fur children Festus and Kitty Girl.  Steve enjoyed good music, eating sweets, foul language, Harleys, Poppy and mama Faye’s Ambrosia, and having a good time. He loved his family and friends.

To the family of Mr. Ferguson, on behalf of Dr. Demario J. Bell Sr. and the Golden Gates entire staff, we extend our deepest condolences, and we thank you for entrusting us with your loved one. May God keep you is our prayer.
