The Life of Mr. Quintin Thomas (Baxley, GA)

Quintin Terrell Devon, 34, of Baxley, GA was born on January 11, 1989 to Kimberly Thomas-
Paulk and Stephanos Woods in Vidalia, GA. He was helped raised by his grandmother Missionary Alma
Brewer and his spiritual father figure Rev. Robert D. Brown. Quintin lived in Vidalia, GA until 1996
when his mother Kimberly Thomas-Paulk married James Patrick Paulk of Baxley, GA. Quintin
graduated from Appling County High School in 2007. Upon graduating, he went on to marry Tina
Thomas. Although they grew apart they remained friends until the day he transitioned. He worked
several jobs in the surrounding cities; Buddy’s of Baxley, GA, CM City of Vidalia, GA and Hazlehurst,
GA, and Walmart of Vidalia, GA. Quintin’s church home was Phillips Temple Church of God in Christ.
He loved and enjoyed guns, fishing, grilling, cooking, and most of all spending time with loved ones.
Quintin was the type of person that never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off of his back. He
was a big teddy bear. Quintin had a voice of an angel. He had a great ability to make others smile and
his sense of humor will be missed. The memories and love of Quintin will forever remain in our hearts.
Mr. Quintin Thomas was preceded in death by his mother; Kimberly Thomas-Paulk; step-
father, James Patrick Paulk; grandparents, Missionary Alma and Freddie Brewer Sr.; aunt, Deborah
Brewer; two cousins, Shaqueinna and Derrell Miller; uncle, Bishop Curtis T. Miller.
Mr. Thomas leaves to cherish his precious memories; fiancé, Heather Lewis; six children,
Quinleigh Thomas, Kimberleigh Thomas, Tamsyn Lewis, Thomas Lewis of Baxley, GA, Ayanna
Thomas and Brylee Thomas of Collins, GA; two special nephews, Ja’Kylon “Jay” Paulk and Brian
Rooks Jr.; siblings; Shayla Thomas (Brian Rooks Sr.) of Baxley, GA, Tyeshia Brown, Terrence Woods,
Robert Brown, Justiin Woods, DeWayne Harris (Kenyetta) of Vidalia, GA, Fontian McCall (Izell), Indi
Paulk, James Paulk Jr., Chris Paulk (Lacey), Derek Paulk of Baxley, GA. Also, a host of nieces,
nephews, cousins, and extended family & friends.
