The Life of Ms. Elizabeth Cata Davis

Ms. Elizabeth Cata Davis, 89, was born on August 17 th , 1932, to Celestino Cata and
Sustina Cata in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She departed from this earthly life on Monday, July
3 rd , 2022, at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA. Ms. Davis was born
and raised on the Nambe Pueblo Reservation. She received her education at the Catholic School
for Girls in New Mexico. She later moved to McRae, GA for a period and then Eastman, GA
where she settled. She was a dedicated employee at Hanes Shirt Factory and a hard-working
Home Health Aide. During her spare time, she loved doing puzzles, crosswords, watching
television, and cooking up a delicious meal.
She leaves her cherished legacy to her family, a loving daughter, Shirley Webb, grandchildren,
Joseph (Shelby) Webb, Sara, Lister, and a great grandson, Jaxson. Her siblings, Katherine Cata,
Maddie Cata West, and Jesuscita Cata.
A private family memorial will for Ms. Elizabeth will be announced on behalf of family at a later
date.
Final rites are entrusted into the hands of Golden Gates Burial & Cremation Services. Were we
