Mrs. Verlesa Williams , age 51 passed away Monday , June 6, 2022 at Bryant Nursing Center Cochran, GA surrounded by her family
Verlesa was born to Sarah Tisdol and Felix Young on July 16, 1970, in Ocilla, GA. Her early education was
at Abbeville Elementary School and Wilcox County High School. Verlesa later received her CNA
Certification from East Central Tech. She was later united in Holy Matrimony to the late Johnny Williams.
Verlesa worked for Integrity Hospice and other facilities helping the elderly until she became ill. She
loved and enjoyed her family, grandkids, cooking, fishing, laughing, going to church, and playing games
and talking on the phone.
Verlesa was preceded in death by her parents, Sarah Tisdol and Felix Young and her Husband, Johnny
Williams.
She is survived by her daughters: Keandra Tisdol, Melissa (Dexter) Harris, Tierra Williams, Cierra (Mr.
Laster); sons: Stephon Hudson, Javon Young; six grandkids: Braelyn and Kason Harris, Genesis Tisdol,
Noel and Dallas Harden, and Nehemiah Williams; sisters: Brenda (David) Odum, Debra (Walter) Durham,
Mary (Eric) Faulkner, Nicole Lawson, Pearlie Walker, Loretta (Elijah) Holland, Ruby Young, and Katie Mae
Young; brothers: Ricky Tate, Robert (Gail) Tate, Charles (Queen) Cook, Melvin Tisdol (Jackie); A very
special and dear friend, Tequila Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and
friends.
Verlesa was a member of Holy House of Righteousness, Pastor Bobby and First Lady, Bernice Davis of
Abbeville, GA.
Verlesa will be remembered for her smile and cooking, and always feeding anyone her good food.
