The Life of Mr. Marvin Maurice “Boo” Roundtree (Vidalia, GA)

Mr. Marvin Roundtree was born April 11th , 1968, in Vidalia, GA to the late Faye Irene
Roundtree and the late Benny Jackson. Mr. Roundtree transitioned from his earthly home to heavenly
home on March 29 th , 2023. During his journey here on earth, he attended Toombs County school system.
He spent majority of his life in Vidalia, GA, before moving to McRae, GA with his loving daughter,
Evelyn Roundtree. He loved to sing, dance, and wash cars. He also loved to have a good time. He was
also known and called, “Boo”, by his family. His life will truly be missed, but his love and memories will
forever be cherished.
Mr. Marvin Roundtree was preceded in death by his dear parents, Faye Irene Roundtree and
Benny Jackson.
Mr. Roundtree leaves to mourn his passing; one daughter, Evelyn Roundtree of McRae, GA
seven grandchildren; Na’shayla Parrish, Kayden Parrish, Sha’Nyla Parrish, Faith Parrish, Miracle
Parrish, Jayla Parrish, and Ja’lyric Lane, sister; Jennifer Jackson, two brothers; Marcus Roundtree
(Vidalia, GA), Tarus Jackson of Wilmington, NC, three uncles; Daniel Roundtree of Vidalia, GA, Ken
Roundtree of Long Beach, CA, Joseph Roundtree (Peggie) of Vidalia, GA, Eddie Ray Roundtree
(Debra) of Vidalia, GA, two aunts; Pearl Holloway of Vidalia, GA, Elnetta Simone (Jerome) of Peris,
CA, five great aunts, three great uncles, seven nieces and nephews, two special family members; (E.B.)
