FRANCES LOUISE (RAINE) MITCHELL

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Frances "Frannie" Mitchell, 82 of Eastman, GA on February 13, 2024 at her son’s home surrounded by her loving family.

Frannie was born in  Maryland. She is the daughter of the late Edith and Buck R.. She retired from the Small Business Administration in Atlanta, GA where she worked as an administrative secretary. 

Frannie enjoyed bowling, cooking, reading, square dancing with her husband Dave, playing cards, crafting, and playing “one-armed bandits,” as she called them at the casinos.

She is survived by her sons Dave Mitchell, of Eastman, and  J.R. Mitchell and his wife Stephanie Mitchell of Buford GA and her two granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dave, of 45 years.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 16th at 2 PM at Lakeside Church, 1417 Cochran Hwy, Eastman, GA 31023. LakesideIsLove.com
